Since we are a part of the sweeping trend of ‘going green’, we encourage you to take sustainable options into consideration for your wedding. Often time people think if they incorporate green ideas into their wedding events they will sacrifice elegance. This is far from the truth. Picking a vintage dress, having your ceremony and reception at the same place, using recycled paper for invitations, and having meals prepared from locally grown food (which we do at Caenen Castle) are ways to make your ceremony sustainable. If you have a green thumb you can even grow your own flowers, or just purchase them locally.  Be mindful and creative with substitutions, there are plenty of ways to make your big day green and memorable.
